“Therefore, my loved ones, just as you always obey me, not just when I am present but now even more while I am away, carry out your own salvation with fear and trembling. God is the one who enables you both to want and to actually live out his good purposes. Do everything without grumbling and arguing so that you may be blameless and pure, innocent children of God surrounded by people who are crooked and corrupt. Among these people you shine like stars in the world because you hold on to the word of life. This will allow me to say on the day of Christ that I haven’t run for nothing or worked for nothing. But even if I am poured out like a drink offering upon the altar of service for your faith, I am glad. I’m glad with all of you.” Philippians 2:12-17

Kathryn (Kat is her nickname) is the quiet sort, knowing when to speak and when to listen.  She’s very empathetic, but never backs down from what is right and true, exercising her strong value system founded on Christian principles.

Kat, being a bookworm in her youth more than an artist, was swayed by her younger sister Lacy to make coloring a career. However, she greatly influences the work they do and their art leans toward storytelling because of her passion for writing.  She always seeks to make art fantastical and imaginable.

With her quirky choice of colors and her conscientious sense of fun, Autumn Angel Art’s art is more than just lovely images, it is a realm leaving the physical and entering the spiritual, a bit like Madeline L’Engle’s “Wrinkle in Time”.

Her goals are to publish a novel, have a profitable business, and enhance the psychological impact her products have on the customer – her strict rule is to never hinder a person’s mental growth with stories or pictures that are dirty, inappropriate, or demeaning to God. Kat helps make Autumn Angel Art’s products bright, light-hearted, pure and appealing. Even when evil darkness is expressed, the message of light must always prevail.  (She is the angel in autumn, maintaining virtue in a darkened season.)
